Copper purchase

Copper is the most valuable metal that regularly arrives at our farm – and that, in which sorting makes the biggest difference. Between the blank Millberry wire and a plug cable with 30% copper content, the proceeds are worlds, although both delivery notes say "copper". That's why every copper purchase from us starts with a look at the scrap metal, not a number. We buy from private individuals as well as from companies – in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and Germany. Buying copper by grade

Blank goods we carry as Millberry copper and Cu Berry / 98 %: clean, non-insulation wires with metallic shiny surface. Waste metal which has been started, painted or slightly contaminated runs as: Refining-grade copper or Cu Heavy Base 95% Copper Content – These include pipes, sheets and collection rails made of dismantling. When buying copper cables, the conductor's share decides: Copper cable approx. 70 % and c. 60 % stand for strong cross-sections with little insulation, Cu cable mixed (38–40% Cu) and Cu plug-in cable (30 % Cu) for thin, multi-coated lines. We take cooler packages as Copper/brass radiators, iron-free, if no more iron parts are attached to it.

What moves the copper price

What your copper is worth, decides on two things: the grade and the day. The copper price follows the stock exchange listing and changes daily – fixed figures are therefore only available as a daily price. What is being paid for per grade today is under Copper price current; what is important for scrap metal, Copper scrap. You can influence the classification yourself: oxide layers, varnish, oil and soldering tin residues press them, iron adhesions and plastic residues as well. Whether stripping is worthwhile depends on the cross-section – with strong cables almost always, with fine plug cables rarely. Copper sale: three ways to us

Delivery, shipping or pick-up: You can sell copper without driving – or come by and bill it right away. Which way is worth it depends on the crowd, not on the place of residence.

Delivery. Industriestraße 4 in 67063 Ludwigshafen, Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, without appointment. We examine the scrap metal together on the farm – This is how the delivery works.

Shipping. You can send copper to us up to 1,000 kg. Even a cardboard bare wire is worth the way.

Pick-up. From 500 kg we pick up Germany-wide with our own fleet. The collection costs are staggered after distance and are fixed before the journey.

Weighing and disbursement

Weighing on calibrated scales, the weighing is yours. Payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer. From €1,000 we need an ID card according to the Money Laundering Act; deliver commercially, the tax debtor takes in accordance with § 13b UStG. For more than ten years, we have been running the company as a family business – for larger jobs request an offer.
