Scrap is the collective term for everything left at the end of a metal use: the removed radiator, the scaffolding from a workshop, the remains of a production batch, the old garden gate. For the price is crucial: what wherein is therein, how pure It's coming. We buy scrap from private individuals as well as from businesses – in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and Germany.
What you can count on
For Iron and steel scrap The weight counts above all; the quotations are in the range of less cents per kilogram and fluctuate with the steel market. There is much more to scrap that contains non-ferrous metal – copper windings in electric motors, brass fittings, aluminium profiles. Those who previously cut out such parts almost always sell them better individually than in the mixture. We will tell you openly when the separation is worthwhile and when the effort eats up the additional income.
What we don't accept: construction debris, insulation materials, household waste and asbestos-containing components. Mixed containers with a high foreign share must be re-sorted, which presses the proceeds.
Three Ways to Us
Delivery. Industriestraße 4 in 67063 Ludwigshafen, Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, without appointment. You drive to the calibrated scale, we examine the scrap metal together, and you get your money directly.
Pick-up. From 500 kg we collect nationwide with our own fleet. The collection costs are staggered after distance and are fixed before the trip – you will find them in the offer, not on the bill.
Container. For ongoing seizures in plants, we place containers and exchange them as required. This is worthwhile regularly from several tons; more to this under Logistics and containers.
For holdings
Production scrap is scheduled, and this is also the purpose of the billing: fixed conditions over an agreed term instead of daily price per delivery. If your scrap is from a dismantling, we will take over the Industrial dismantling equal and calculate the material value against the costs.
Weighing and disbursement
Weighing on a calibrated scale, the weighing slip is yours. After weighing, we pay out within 24 hours – in cash upon delivery or by bank transfer. From 1,000 € we need an ID card according to the money laundering law; in the case of commercial delivery of scrap, the tax debtor is subject to § 13b UStG.
