Copper Berry (Cu Berry 98%) is bare copper wire without insulation with slight oxidation. The Berry Copper price per kg is just below Millberry and is calculated daily.

What counts to Cu Berry / 98%

Cu Berry / 98% are clean, bare copper wires with a copper content of at least 98%. The grade has no insulation, strong oxidation and no disturbing foreign substances. It is therefore close to the highest class – the conductor's share of rash, not the wire thickness.

Typical seizure sites

Cable processing and assembly, industrial production residues, dismantling of plants, ribbed lines from electrical work. If you strip wire yourself, you usually end up in this type or step above it.

Which lowers the classification

Inrun paints and dark oxide layers, lacquer residue on winding wire, oil and grease films, soldering tin on contacts, mixed strand with insulating residue. Collect dry and clean – moist goods and foreign metals press the classification.

Delimitation to Millberry, Raff and Cable

Metallic shiny wire without any oxide layer is Millberry copper. Tubes, sheets and taps run as follows: Refining-grade copper. If the insulation still sits on the ladder, we weigh according to cable type, for example as Copper cable approx. 70 %.
