About MKM Metals
Family-run metal trade from Ludwigshafen with over ten years of experience in the purchase of copper, brass, aluminium and stainless steel.
MKM Metals e.K. is a family-run company with more than ten years of experience in buying and selling metals. From our recycling yard in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, we work for private individuals, craft businesses and industrial companies – from the individual cable drum to regular container collection.
Our focus is on Copper and copper cables, brass and gunmetal, aluminium, stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals. The purchase prices are checked daily and adjusted when moving – comprehensible and without hidden deductions.
What matters to us
Perceived prices
Every delivery is weighed, we explain each evaluation. You'll get the weighing slip in any case.
Reliable dates
Promised pickups take place. If something comes up, we'll get in touch – before, not after.
Quick payout
Within 24 hours of weighing, the money is on the move, upon request, immediately in cash.
Clear contacts
You're talking to the same people, not a hold-up.
For enterprises
In addition to the pure purchase, we take over the entire processing: We place containers in the appropriate size, pick up according to agreed rhythm, document the utilization and calculate monthly. For companies with regular material seizures, reliable revenues are generated without own expense.
Where it makes sense, we also continue to market your scrap metal instead of just buying it – then you do not bear the price risk alone. Details can be found at Metal sales & marketing and Logistics & containers.
Sustainability is the core of the business
Metal recycling is not an addition to the metal trade, but its actual purpose. Secondary copper requires a fraction of the energy of primary copper, and metals can be melted virtually as often as possible without losing quality. Every tonne that runs through our farm replaces exactly this amount of newly mined raw material.
