What counts to Cu cable mixed (38–40% Cu)

Mixed Cu cables include cable types with different insulations, the copper content of which is about 38 to 40 percent. In addition to copper, plastic sheathings, fillers and other components are included in the product. The classification is thus determined by the conductor part, not the quantity in the bag.

Typical seizure sites

Decommissioning and refurbishment, electrical installations on construction sites, industrial dismantling, remaining stocks from warehouses. Often everything comes together: thin control lines, data cables, short pieces with rests of terminals.

Which lowers the classification

Multiple coats, thick filling layers, steel reinforcement, co-wire made of aluminium, soil and wetness, plaster and mortar residues. Presorted, dry and free of coarse foreign materials, the product remains in its class.

Delimitation to neighbouring grades

We classify cables with a strong conductor and thin cover higher than Copper cable approx. 60 % or Copper cable approx. 70 %. Device cables with plugs and connectors run as Cu plug-in cable (30 % Cu). The initial classification is with the grade choice; at the entrance we check it.

Choose grade, specify quantity, receive shipping label, deliver package. You can send in cables up to 1,000 kg. After the entrance, we weigh and pay. Short pieces belong in a stable cardboard box, long lines roll tightly.

Weighing and disbursement

Weighing on calibrated scales, the weighing is yours. Payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer. In the event of major disbursements, the Money Laundering Act requires an ID card. For commercial deliveries, the tax liability applies according to § 13b UStG. We buy from private and commercial, as a family business with our own recyclable farm in Ludwigshafen.
