Industrial disassembly: dismantling of complete plants

If production expires, a hall is drawn empty or a plant departs from a new building, a dismantling is to be carried out that goes far beyond the unscrewing of individual parts. MKM Metals takes over the Industrial dismantling complete: we disassemble the plant, separate the materials, transport and calculate the material value against. In many cases, there is no cost item at the end, but a payout.

What We Rebuild

The scope ranges from the individual machine to the complete plant. Frequently asked are:

Whether a plant is received as a whole and resold or disassembled into its materials, we decide together with you. Machines worth obtaining often bring more than their scrap value as second-hand goods.

Safety and Evidence

Decommissioning often takes place in ongoing operations. We work after risk assessment, secure working areas and coordinate every step with your safety specialist. Installations are demonstrably unlocked and made unpressurized before dismantling.

Dangerous substances – oils, coolants, operating materials, artificial mineral fibres – are subject to their own procedures. We record them in advance, dispose of them via approved specialist companies and document the disposal without any interruption. You will receive all the evidence for your documents.

What constitutes the material value

The proceeds of disassembly depend less on the total weight than on the purity of the grade. A control cabinet whose copper is neatly separated brings a multiple of what it releases as mixed scrap. This is exactly what we are doing: We already separate during dismantling.

Copper from windings, cables and collecting rails, stainless steel from containers and pipelines, aluminium from profiles and housings as well as carbide from tools are particularly valuable. The daily prices for the individual grades can be found in our Purchase of metal.
