Plug cables and device cables have around 30% copper content. We buy plug cable scrap and electric cables for the daily price of plug cable scrap per kg – plugs may stay on.

What counts for Cu plug cable (30 % Cu)

Cu plug cables are cables with connectors, connections and insulating sheathing, the copper content of which is around 30 percent. In addition to the ladder, plastic, plug housing and contact parts are also weighing. This makes the conductor part significantly lower than for installation cables – the grade forms the lowest level of cable types.

Typical seizure sites

Extensions and cable drums, power cables of household and office equipment, equipment lines from workshops, charging cables and connection lines from technical applications. We do not accept whole devices in this type, but cut-off lines do. Batteries never belong in the package – we do not accept them.

Which lowers the classification

Heavy plug housings, transformer and power supply blocks at the end of the cable, plastic roll-on housing, adhesive tape and cable ties in quantities, with wetness. Cap heavy attachments, if this is done without effort.

Delimitation to neighbouring grades

Cable running with more ladder and thinner shell than Cu cable mixed (38–40% Cu) or Copper cable approx. 60 %. Striped, bare wire is Millberry copper – with such fine veins, however, stripping is rarely worthwhile.

Frequently asked questions about the purchase of Cu plug cable (30%Cu)

Do charging and data cables belong to this type or mixed with Cu cables?

The rash is given by the copper content, not the intended use. Fine charging lines with plug housing typically lie at around 30 percent and run here; network and control lines without heavy attachments often achieve more and are more than Cu cable mixed (38–40% Cu) Weighted. If both are in the same box, we sort them in front of the scales.

Is a box worth power cable if I don't have any copper to sell?

The grade lies at the lower end of the cable scale, so the proceeds depend heavily on the weight of the box. If a well-filled carton comes together, the way is worth it. You can drop off without an appointment from Monday to Saturday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Industriestraße 4 in 67063 Ludwigshafen – This is how the delivery works.

How do I find out what copper is worth with so much plastic?

They expect the weight of the cables, not that of the copper in them – the low conductor content is already included in the daily price of this grade. This daily price and all other copper grades can be found at Copper price current. The comparison with the higher quality cable types shows quickly whether separating is worthwhile.
