Copper candle – details

Copper candle is bare, unalloyed copper waste from the punching shop. We pay the daily copper candle price per kg – the cleaner and purer, the closer to the Millberry price.

What matters to a copper candle

Copper candle is bare punching waste from copper processing: grids, butts, edge strips and cut-outs from the punching of copper tape. The copper content is around 99%, the surface is metallically bright and free of paint, tin and insulation.

Typical seizure sites

Punching and pressing plant, manufacturers of contacts, terminals and connectors, strip cutting and sheet metal processing. There the goods regularly arrive in containers and remain varietal.

Which lowers the classification

Punching grease and emulsion in the container, start-up paints due to damp storage, tinned or nickel-plated strips, with iron and plastic parts from the next machine.

Delimitation to Millberry and Copper Raff

Blank wire from cables runs as Millberry copperPlates and tubes, n.e.c. Refining-grade copper. Choose the grade yourself, be checked at the entrance; be billed according to the actual grade.

This is how the parcel shipment works

Choose grade, specify quantity, receive shipping label by e-mail, deliver package to DHL. Up to 1,000 kg goes Germany-wide, per package a maximum of 31.5 kg; 6 euros per package are charged with the payout. Punching waste is heavy: prefer several small cartons.

From what amount is the collection worthwhile

From 500 kg we come nationwide with our own fleet. The collection costs are staggered after distance, 40 to 350 euros, and are fixed before the trip. For several containers Request a quote.

Weighing and disbursement

Weighing on calibrated scales, the weighing is yours. Payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer, from 25 euros. In the event of major payments, the Money Laundering Act requires an ID card; in the case of commercial delivery, § 13b UStG applies. The daily price shows Metal prices.

If the scrap metal does not match the grade

Everyone can do something – so we don't just dispose of anything like that. If the test results in a different grade, we will contact you and You decideHow to proceed:

Partial purchase – we buy the part that fits.
Return – the goods go back to you. You will bear the costs of the return.
Disposal – we dispose of the goods for you.
