Lead purchase – sell lead at daily price

Roll lead, tube lead, weights, bullet lead: here is what we assume, which must not be in the package and how quickly the payout comes.

Lead is the heaviest scrap metal in the yard and the easiest to test: soft, dull in sound, not magnetic. The proceeds count how clean it is – mortar on the lead and sand in the lead are later placed on the scales. Both lead types are: Lead, zinc & electric motors.

• Lead batteries and starter batteries: this is taken back by the trade, municipal collection points as well.
• X-ray aprons with a rubber coat: the lead content is not detachable, the issue of disposal operation.
• Lead glass, lead-containing glazes, lead man and lead dust: no metal, which goes into disposal.
• Ammunition with propellant and fund ammunition: never in one package – police and military equipment clearance are responsible.

Detecting lead: the characteristics

Lead is not magnetic and unusually heavy for its size – a piece in hand size weighs a multiple of an equally large aluminium piece. Freshly cut, it shines brightly and starts in matte grey within hours. It is the softest metal in the assortment: the fingernail presses a trace, a sheet metal folds like cardboard. Lead doesn't break brittle, it cracks tough and falls dull, without reverberation.

Softlead and bulletlead

Soft lead is uniformly grey, flexible and without admixture: tube, roll lead, plates, bars, weights. The bullet lead consists of many small, deformed pieces from the ball catch, partly with copper coat, in between sand, earth and wood remains. Dry and sifted it is the better classification.

1. Keep soft lead and bullet lead separate, then specify grade and quantity over Request a quote.
2. Choose your way: send in via DHL throughout Germany – lead is dense, a small carton is enough –, let us pick up or bring by yourself, see Delivery.
3. Weighing at Ludwigshafen am Rhein on calibrated scales, classification according to the actual grade; the weighing slip is yours.
4. Payment within 24 hours of receipt of the weighing slip, for businesses by credit in accordance with § 14 para. 2 VATG.

Minimum quantity, shipping costs, payout

There is no minimum quantity. Package shipping up to 1,000 kg, per package maximum 31.5 kg, 6 euros per package, charged with the payment; the shipping label comes from us by e-mail. Collection from 500 kg throughout Germany, the collection costs are staggered by distance, lie between 40 and 350 Euro and are fixed before the journey. Delivery in the Rhein-Neckar-Raum: Industriestraße 4, 67063 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Mo to Sat 9 to 18 o'clock, without appointment – follow further delivery points.
