You want to sell lead? We buy old lead, tube lead, rolled lead and balance weights at the current price per kg. Current values can also be found at Lead price and at the Lead purchase.

Selling lead is worthwhile even for small quantities: the metal is so dense that half a bucket weighs more than it looks. We buy from private individuals as well as from businesses.

What matters to lead

Lead is a heavy non-ferrous metal and comes from us as old lead, tube lead, rolled lead, balance weights and lead sheets. The best proceeds are clean, varietal soft lead.

Typical seizure sites

Roofing and sanitary facilities supply rolling lead and lead plates from fireplace connections and throats. From old buildings come lead pipes, from workshops balancing weights of rims. In addition, lead plates from radiation protection and residues from the dismantling of old pipes.

Which lowers the classification

Down draw iron adhesions, plastic residues, paint, mortar and oil. We evaluate the lead and heavily polluted balance weights separately. Keeping soft lead apart is better for selling.

No batteries, no batteries

We do not accept batteries and batteries – neither car batteries nor starter batteries or battery packs. We accept lead exclusively as metal, not as a cell with housing and acid.

Sending lead throughout Germany

This is how the parcel shipment works

Choose grade, specify quantity, receive shipping label, submit package: So you can send in lead, up to 1,000 kg per delivery. Because of the density, you prefer to pack several small, stable packages than a large one. After the receipt follow weighing and payout.

From what amount is the collection worthwhile

From 500 kg we pick up Germany-wide with our own fleet. The collection costs are staggered after distance and are fixed before the journey. The daily price can be found at Metal prices; for larger quantities request an offer.

Delivery to Ludwigshafen

Industriestraße 4, 67063 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., no appointment – This is how the delivery works. You can reach our recycling yard from the entire Rhine-Neckar area and from Mannheim. Further delivery points will follow. Oxidated gutters and sheets do not run as lead, but as Zinc.

Weighing and disbursement

Weighing on calibrated scales, the weighing is yours. Payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer. In the event of major disbursements, the Money Laundering Act requires an identification card; in the case of commercial delivery, the tax debtor applies according to § 13b of the UStG. For over ten years, we have been running the company as a family business with our own recyclable farm.
