Brass 58, mostly called MS58, is the most common brass alloy in purchase. Around 58 percent copper, the rest mainly zinc. The copper content determines the value, so we sort by grade and not by appearance.

What counts to brass 58

Rotating and milling parts, fittings, fittings, valve bodies, rod residues and profile sections. The material is golden yellow, sounds bright and heavier than it looks.

Typical seizure sites

Turntables and machining plants, plumbing and heating installers, machinery and apparatus construction. MS58 is also a private event when old fittings, faucets or fittings are exchanged.

Which lowers the classification

Iron screws and steel spindles in fittings, plastic handles, rubber seals, soldering tin residues as well as chromed or nickel-plated surfaces. We classify heavily contaminated goods as mixed brass and remunerate them lower. If you dismantle before, you better sell.

Delimitation to brass 63 and chips

This is how the parcel shipment works

Choose grade, specify quantity, receive shipping label, deliver package. We accept shipments up to 1,000 kg. After weighing, the payout follows. Anyone who wants to sell brass doesn't have to travel for it.

From what amount is the collection worthwhile

From 500 kg we pick up Germany-wide with our own fleet. The collection costs are staggered after distance and are fixed before the journey.

Delivery to Ludwigshafen

Our recycling yard is located in Industriestraße 4, 67063 Ludwigshafen am Rhein. Open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, without appointment – what you should bring. Further delivery points will follow.

Weighing and disbursement

Weighing on calibrated scales, the weighing is yours. The payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer. In the event of major disbursements, the Money Laundering Act requires an ID card.
