MS63 (brass 63, CuZn37) is mainly used for sheet metal, thermoforming and punching parts. Due to the higher copper content, the MS63 price per kg is above MS58 – we calculate it daily.

Brass 63, short MS63, contains around 63 percent copper and can be easily cold-formed. The higher copper content increases the classification against MS58 – provided that the product is pure.

What counts to brass 63

Plates and sheet metal cut, deep drawing parts, punching residues, drawing parts and sleeve blanks from cold forming. Typical are thin, light yellow cuts with bare cut edges.

Typical seizure sites

Stamping and deep drawing, sheet metal processing, electrical and apparatus construction, precision mechanics, sign and hardware manufacturing.

Which lowers the classification

Soldering points and soldering tin residues, steel rivets, iron adhesions, plastic parts, adhesive tape, paint and paint residue as well as chromed surfaces. Mixed or contaminated goods count as brass mixed and are paid lower.

Delimitation to MS58 and sleeves

Turning and milling parts belong to Brass 58. Shells made from MS72 are above this because of the higher copper content: Brass cartridge cases. The valid quotations can be found at Metal prices. Those who separate the grades beforehand get for each one the sentence that is due to them.

Choose grade, specify quantity, receive shipping label, deliver package. We'll accept shipments up to 1,000 kg. We weigh, we pay. So you can sell brass without driving yourself.

From what amount is the collection worthwhile

From 500 kg we pick up Germany-wide with our own fleet. The pick-up costs depend on the distance and are fixed before the journey.

Delivery to Ludwigshafen

You can also bring your MS63 directly: Industriestraße 4, 67063 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., without appointment. What you should have with you is under Delivery. Further delivery points will follow.

Weighing and disbursement

Each delivery runs through a calibrated scale, the weighing slip is yours. Payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer. In the event of major disbursements, the Money Laundering Act requires an ID card. In the case of commercial delivery, the tax liability is governed by § 13b of the UStG. We buy from private individuals and businesses – as a family business for over ten years.
