What belongs to V2A chips

V2A chips are produced during the machining of chrome-nickel steel 18/8, also called Nirosta. We accept turning, milling and drilling chips, loosely in containers or pressed. If you want to sell V2A chips, you should hand them over as they are on the machine: pure and dry.

Turning mills, milling mills, CNC machining and contract manufacturing, along with maintenance and sample construction. We buy from businesses as well as from private individuals.

Which lowers the classification

Chips should be free of oil, emulsion and foreign chips. Wet chips bring fluid to the scales that no one pays, and coolant makes rework necessary. Steel, aluminium or V4A chips in the same container lead to a lower classification because we need to sort. The magnetic test helps as a layman's test on the edge: V2A chips are usually only weakly magnetic, steel chips adhere clearly.

Delimitation to piecemeal scrap metal

Plates, pipes and profiles do not run as chips, but as V2A waste up to 1,5 m; acid-resistant scrap metal with molybdenum as V4A waste up to 1,5 m. We always evaluate mixed containers according to the weaker grade.

Choose grade, specify quantity, receive shipping label, deliver package – we accept shipments up to 1,000 kg by DHL. Put chips in dense, stable containers so that nothing gets out on the way. Weighing and payout follow.

From what amount is the collection worthwhile

Delivery to Ludwigshafen

Our recycling yard in Ludwigshafen accepts chips without appointment: Industriestraße 4, 67063 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Further delivery points will follow.

Weighing and disbursement

Weighing on calibrated scales, the weighing is yours. Payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer. In the event of major disbursements, the Money Laundering Act requires an identification card; in the case of commercial delivery, the tax debtor applies according to § 13b of the UStG.
