What matters to V2A waste

V2A is the chrome-nickel steel 18/8 with the material number 1.4301, in everyday life usually called Nirosta. It is the most common stainless steel type and occurs as sheet metal, pipe, profile or railing. We buy V2A waste up to 1.5 m in length. This limit of length is a real acceptance criterion: up to 1.5 m the scrap metal can be loaded without cutting, longer parts must be shortened beforehand.

Typical seizure sites

Railings and handrails, kitchen and catering equipment, pipelines, containers, claddings as well as plant parts from workshop and production. We buy from private individuals as well as from businesses.

Which lowers the classification

Iron adhesions pull down every delivery: welded steel feet, hinges and screws, along with plastic, seals, insulating wool and composite parts. As a lay test, the magnetic test helps – V2A is usually not or only weakly magnetic, normal structural steel adheres clearly. The alloy itself cannot determine a magnet; we will arrange this together with you during the evaluation.

Delimitation to V4A

V4A waste up to 1,5 m contain additionally molybdenum (about 20/10/2), are acid-resistant and are more remunerated. Clean separation is worth it: In the mixture we evaluate the whole delivery according to the weaker grade. Waste metal from machining runs separately as V2A stainless steel turnings.

Weighing and disbursement

Weighing on calibrated scales, the weighing is yours. Payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer. In the event of major disbursements, the Money Laundering Act requires an identification card; in the case of commercial delivery, the tax debtor applies according to § 13b of the UStG.
