What matters to iron scrap

Iron and steel scrap is the most common grade in the farm: steel and iron without significant non-ferrous metal content. These include supports and profiles from the dismantling, sheet metal, pipes, radiators, machine frames and containers. The quantity here makes the yield, not the kilo price – iron is at the lower end of the scale.

Workshop and yard resolutions, dismantling and dismantling in buildings, heating exchange, decommissioned machines, fences and garden gates. In factories, iron scrap is continuously produced as a waste of production; for this purpose, we provide a container.

Which lowers the classification

Concrete and wall remains on beams, insulation wool in radiators, oil in containers, wood and plastic on machine frames. We do not accept building debris, insulation materials, household waste and asbestos-containing components, nor do we accept batteries. What we need to sort out is a squeeze on revenue.

Delimitation to mixed and metal scrap

If copper windings, brass fittings or aluminium profiles are still attached to it, it is no longer iron scrap. The delivery runs unseparated as: Mixed scrap, the non-ferrous metal prevails as Metal scrap. Variety-free separation raises the proceeds noticeably: Anyone who cuts out motors and valves before, sells them individually almost always better than in the mixture. This is how the parcel shipment works

Choose grade, specify quantity, receive shipping label, deliver parcel to DHL – after weighing the payment follows. You can send in up to 1,000 kg throughout Germany. To be honest, this road is rarely worthwhile with iron: the kilo price is low, the shipping costs eat the proceeds. The shipping of parcels is particularly useful for small quantities with a high non-ferrous metal content.

From what amount is the collection worthwhile

The collection from 500 kg is the usual way for iron scrap: throughout Germany, with its own fleet. The collection costs are staggered after distance and are fixed before the journey. A ton of carriers ride better on the truck than in the package. You can name the quantity and location in Supply, you will find out the price in advance after verification.

Delivery to Ludwigshafen

Industriestraße 4, 67063 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, without appointment. They drive on the calibrated scale, are examined together at the recycling yard in Ludwigshafen. If you want to sell iron scrap, you don't need a pre-registration. Weighing and disbursement

Weighing on calibrated scales, the weighing is yours. Payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer. In the event of major disbursements, the Money Laundering Act requires an identification card; in the case of commercial delivery, the tax debtor applies according to § 13b of the UStG. There is no fixed daily price for this grade – the price comes after the inspection of the delivery.
