What counts in mixed scrap

Mixed scrap is the unseparated delivery: iron and metal parts are mixed up, as is the case with a dismantling, a workshop resolution or a ripple. A mixed scrap like this is examined at our farm and evaluated according to the estimated percentage of non-ferrous metal.

Typical seizure sites

Unfurling of basement, garage and storage, workshop resolutions, dismantling and dismantling in plants, mixed containers from the yard. The crate of scrap metal, which has accumulated over the years, is also mixed scrap.

Which lowers the classification

Foreign materials cost revenue: wood, plastic, glass, insulation wool, concrete and wall remains. We do not accept building debris, insulation materials, household waste and asbestos-containing components, nor do we accept batteries. The higher the foreign share, the more we have to resort – and that's what the valuation is.

Delimitation to iron and metal scrap

If you break up, you deserve more. Iron delivered in a pure grade runs as Iron scrap, a supply with predominantly non-ferrous metal content as Metal scrap. Variety-free separation clearly raises the proceeds: copper windings made of electric motors, brass valves and aluminium profiles individually bring a multiple of what they are worth in the mixture. We will tell you openly when the separation is worthwhile and when the effort eats up the additional income.

This is how the parcel shipment works

Choose grade, specify quantity, receive shipping label, deliver package to DHL – after weighing we pay out. You can send in up to 1,000 kg throughout Germany. With a mixed box, this only pays if there is a lot of non-ferrous metal in it. If the iron prevails, the shipping costs eat the proceeds, and the delivery or collection is the better way.

From what amount is the collection worthwhile

From 500 kg you can pick up the scrap, Germany-wide and with your own fleet. The collection costs are staggered after distance and are fixed before the journey. For an unseparated delivery this is the practical way. There is no daily price here: For larger quantities we call the price after verification in advance in the SupplyOtherwise it will arise after the inspection of the delivery.

At the scrap yard in Ludwigshafen, you drive first onto the calibrated scales, after which we look through the scrap metal together – This is how the delivery works. Weighing and disbursement

Weighing on calibrated scales, the weighing is yours. The payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer. In the event of major disbursements, the Money Laundering Act requires an identification card; in the case of commercial delivery, the tax debtor applies according to § 13b of the UStG. We buy from private individuals as well as from businesses – for more than ten years as a family business with its own value-added farm.
