We buy tin-lead lot with around 30% tin at the current tin price of 30 kg per day. The general tin price can be found on our Tin price page.

Tin 30 % is tin-bleed lot, as it was processed in the installation and industry. It brings less than tin-rich grades, but remains a recyclable material and does not belong in the mixed scrap. The analysis says exactly where the commodity lies. We buy from private and commercial customers, in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and throughout Germany.

What counts to tin 30 %

Low tin solder bars and wire, pipe installation sockets and piston solderers, residuals of lead, pot and bottom residues from soldering baths and old stocks from workshops.

Typical seizure sites

Sanitary and roofing plants, dismantling and dismantling of older installations, industrial soldering plants, and stockpiles from companies that have changed their soldering technology.

Which lowers the classification

Strong impurities, solvents, fluxes, iron and copper parts in the container, melted pipe residues. Pure lead without tin content is a separate grade and is evaluated separately.

Delimitation to tin-rich solders

If the tin content is significantly higher, the product will run as: Tin 60 % or as Tin 99 % – both are better paid. Sort before packing instead of putting everything in a bucket.

This is how the parcel shipment works

Choose grade, specify quantity, receive shipping label, deliver package. You can sell your soldering tin up to 1,000 kg without driving yourself. After the receipt we weigh, step in and pay out; the valid daily price is below Metal prices. For larger quantities request an offer.

From what amount is the collection worthwhile

From 500 kg we pick up Germany-wide with our own fleet. The collection costs are staggered after distance and are fixed before the journey. Lead-containing solder quickly brings weight to the pallet – this limit is often closer than you think.

Delivery to Ludwigshafen

Industriestraße 4, 67063 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, without appointment. At the recycling yard we will look at the scrap metal together with you. Further delivery points will follow.

Weighing and disbursement

Weighing on calibrated scales, the weighing is yours. The payment is made within 24 hours, cash or by bank transfer. In the event of major disbursements, the Money Laundering Act requires an identification card; in the case of commercial delivery, the tax debtor applies according to § 13b of the UStG. For over ten years we have been working as a family business with our own recyclable farm.
