We buy zinc scrap from gutters, zinc sheets, diecast zinc and anodes at the current zinc scrap price per kg. The general zinc price can be found on our Zinc price page.

Selling zinc is above all a matter of sorting: Blank, new commodity is usually paid higher than old, oxidized zinc. We buy from private individuals as well as from businesses.

What counts to zinc

Zinc scrap occurs as gutters, drop pipes, sheet metal, die casting parts, galvanizing waste and anodes. The best price is pure, clean goods without foreign materials.

Typical seizure sites

From the roof come gutters, fall pipes and throat plates, from the galvanic galvanic galvanizing waste and hard zinc, from boat construction and from heating systems of victims anodes. Die casting parts are in door fittings, carburettor housings and older model components.

Which lowers the classification

Iron adhesions, screws, plastic, sealing compound and heavy pollution press the classification. Old zinc with a thick oxide layer is below new, bare product. Dachrinnen please free of brackets and silicone.

Delimitation to galvanized steel

Galvanized sheets, pipes and fences are not zinc, but steel with a thin zinc layer – which we expect as iron scrap. A magnet clears this in two seconds: if it sticks, it's steel. A strikingly heavy, soft scrap metal without magnetic effect can, however, Lead be.
